Our Favorite Local Organic Skin Regime

Leahlani is a local Kauai beauty brand that has treatments, washes, and oils for all skin types. They have a product for everything including dry skin, congested skin, and combination skin. All their products are made with local organic ingredients, which we love. So we are going to highlight a couple of our favorite products for you!

Kokoleka Ritual Desert Purifying Mask ($72)

The mask-ne problem is REAL. After wearing my mask for 5+ hours a day, I realized my face was starting to get a little congested. I talked to some peers, and they all agreed. So for those of you suffering with the same problem, make sure you EXFOLIATE and this mask does exactly that! Use this mask AFTER you have removed all your makeup and have washed your face. The clay, coconut charcoal, and organic cacao mixed with different fruit extracts draw impurities to the surface giving your face a deeper cleanse. We don’t recommend doing it everyday, maybe 2 to 3 times a week depending on the severity of the situation.

Pamplemousse Enzyme Cleansing Oil ($54)

Finding a wash that leaves you with a clean feelings is hard, but we think we found one for you. This oil leave you feeling clean, but not dry. The grapefruit leave you bright and fresh. Mixed in with the papaya and pineapple enzymes, this wash will melt away impurities, makeup, while not stripping the healthy oils off. Make sure to remove most of your makeup before applying the wash. The wash will leave your face smooth, soft, and even in tone. You can use this wash twice a day, morning and night.

Citrus and Citrine Toner ($48)

This product is meant for girls who have oily acne-prone skin. Toner is meant to add more hydration to those who struggle to get their skin in balance. After washing, apply this toner to your cotton ball and rub it around your face in a circular motion. The Citrine Stone, Hawaiian Salt and water work together to keep your skin balanced, vibrant, and feeling well nourished. We recommend using this watch twice a day after washing.

Aloha Ambrosia Morning Moisture Elixir ($58)

Called by the company a “superfood for the face” this moisturizer has a lightweight consistency that means it is perfect to keep under your makeup or sunscreen. This moisturizer is made with olive squalene oil and infused with fruit extracts to give you a fragrant but not overwhelming glow. Use this once a day in the morning for a lovely glow all day.

Mahina Evening Replenishing Cream ($75)

This cream gives your skin back EVERYTHING you took from it during the day. The oils mixed with the COQ-10 enzymes give your skin everything she never knew she needed all while you’re sleeping! You will wake up with your skin feeling replenished and balanced after just a few nights. We recommend this be the last step in your daily skin routine.
